Book Lover is operated by 10X Leap ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, create an account, purchase access, or otherwise use the Book Lover service.

2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: email address, password, and name (such as first and last name) when you register or sign in. Authentication and profile data are processed through our service providers (including Supabase).
- Purchase and payment information: when you buy access, checkout is handled through Pabbly Checkout powered by Razorpay. At checkout, we (and our checkout providers) collect your email address and payment details needed to complete the purchase. We do not store your full payment card number on our own systems. We may receive confirmation details such as that a purchase was completed, your email, and related order or access information.
- Usage and technical information: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, timestamps, and similar diagnostic or analytics data.
- Cookies and similar technologies: information collected through cookies, pixels, and related tools, including advertising technologies described below.
- Communications: content you send us (for example support or privacy requests).
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Book Lover
- Create and manage accounts, sessions, and access
- Process purchases and deliver access to content
- Respond to support and privacy requests
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms
- Analyze how the service is used and improve performance and content
- Conduct marketing and advertising, including measuring campaigns, building audiences, and personalizing ads — including through Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and related advertising tools
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies
We and our partners may use:
- Essential cookies: required for core functions such as authentication and session management.
- Analytics and performance technologies: to understand traffic and improve the site.
- Advertising technologies: including the Meta Pixel and similar Meta advertising cookies and tools. These may collect information about your visits and actions on our site (such as pages viewed, button clicks, and conversion events like purchases or sign-ups) so we can measure ad performance, optimize campaigns, retarget visitors, and show more relevant ads on Meta platforms and elsewhere.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality. For Meta ads, you can also adjust your preferences in Meta's ad settings (for example, Facebook Ad Preferences).
5. Advertising and Meta Platforms
We use Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta") advertising products — including Meta Pixel, conversion tracking, and related measurement tools (such as Conversions API where implemented) — to market Book Lover on Facebook, Instagram, and the Meta Audience Network.
When you use our site, Meta may receive information such as:
- That you visited our website or specific pages
- Actions you take (for example viewing content, starting checkout, completing a purchase, or signing up)
- Technical identifiers (such as IP address, browser type, and cookie or device identifiers)

Where required by law, we rely on your consent for non-essential advertising cookies and similar tracking. You may withdraw consent or opt out of interest-based ads through browser controls, device settings, and Meta Ad Preferences, subject to applicable limitations.
6. How we share information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers: companies that help us operate Book Lover, such as hosting providers (for example Vercel), authentication and database providers (Supabase), checkout and payment processors (Pabbly Checkout powered by Razorpay), email delivery, and analytics tools.
- Advertising partners: including Meta, as described above, for advertising, measurement, and related purposes.
- Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, where permitted by law.
We do not sell personal information as a primary business activity. Some advertising and analytics practices may involve sharing identifiers or event data with partners in ways that certain privacy laws treat as a "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. Where those laws apply, you may have the right to opt out as described in Section 9.
7. Legal bases for processing
Depending on where you live, we process personal information on one or more of these bases: to perform a contract with you (for example providing the service you purchased or signed up for); with your consent (for example certain marketing cookies); for our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the service), balanced against your rights; and to comply with legal obligations.

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the service, and as required for legitimate business, legal, tax, or security purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where practicable.
Book Lover may be hosted and supported using providers that process data in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to opt out of marketing communications or targeted advertising.

10. Children's privacy
Book Lover is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at bookloversite2026@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Book Lover after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
